Mrs. Conlin was born July 3, 1918 in Hume, a daughter of William and Cecilia Waller NAUM MARGULIS Naum A. Margulis, age 86. of Charleston, passed away at 8:15 p.m. on Monday, December 17, 2001, at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.

Funeral services celebrating his life will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the Schilling Funeral Home with the Reverend Harold Humbert officiating. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will be held from a.m. Friday morning at the funeral home.

Martha Hayden GREENUP Martha Meehan. She married Laurence G. Conlin, Sr. on Aug. 3, 1946 in Mattoon.

He survives. Besides her husband, Laurence, she is survived by two sons, Laurence "L.G." G. Conlin, Jr. of Neoga, Michael Conlin and his wife Shawn of Blue Mound: three daughters, Karen Faler, Janet Lathrop and her husband Scott, Dianne Murphy and her husband Bill, all of Arcola; two sisters. Loretta Tucker of Mattoon, Bernadine Davis of Arcola; 12 grandchildren, Amiee Truex, Luci Faler, Casey.

Kristen, and Chase Conlin, Alan, Matt, and Emily Lathrop, Trent, Tyler, and Kathleen Conlin, and Lauren Naum was born March 22, 1915, in the Ukraine, a son of Abraham Margulis and Nadya (Vogman) Margulis. He married Dora in 1946. She passed away in 1957. He was also preceded in death by one sister. Survivors include one daughter, Marta Margulis and husband Gregory Galperin of Charleston; one son, Vladislav Zverev of Moscow, Russia: and one grandson, Andrew Galperin of Charleston.

Mr. Margulis formerly worked in the Ukraine as a Civil Service Economist.
