7, 1992) at Covenant Medical Center in Urbana. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Shrader Funeral Home in Arthur with the Rev. George Davis officiating. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m.

Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial is in Arthur Cemetery. She was born Aug. 25, 1917 in Franklin County, the daughter of Thomas P. and Noma Kirk Phillips.

She married John E. Browning in Franklin County on Dec. 5, 1934; he died Sept. 4, 1981. Surviving are two sons, Carol of Sadorus and Gary of Mattoon; two.

daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Idalene Watkins of Arthur and Mrs. Jim Linda Frey of Secor; a brother, Horace Phillips of Masadonia; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She worked at Brown Shoe in Sullivan, Progress Industries in Arthur and Collegiate Cap Gown in Arcola. She was a member of the Arthur Southern Baptist Church.

Hite, 75, of Albuquerque, N.M., formerly of Charleston, died Monday (Sept. 7, 1992) at her home. A service will be scheduled later. Caudill-King Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements. She was born April 13, 1917 in Windsor, a daughter of Levi and Minnie May Rentfro.

He was born Oct. 8, 1910 in Arthur, the son of John H. and Mattie Powell Pankey. He married Rose McDonald in Arcola on March 21, 1935; she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Carolyn Ohlsen of Beech Grove, and Brenda Miller of Fairfield, a brother, Burl Pankey of Decatur; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. He was a retired farmer and member of the Vine Street Christian Church. Arnold Schilling FULTS -Arnold H. Schilling, 82, of Fults, died Saturday (Sept. 5, 1992) on the farm on which he was born.

The funeral was at the St. John's United Church of Christ in Maeystown with the Rev. Paul Thompson officiating. Burial was in Maeystown Cemetery. He was born Nov.

17, 1909 near Maeystown, son of Henry and Emma Trost Schilling. He married Octavia A. Mueller Feb. 26, 1938; she survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Yvonne Gilbert of Faults; two sons, David and Dwight, both of Mattoon; a brother; four sisters; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Mr. Schilling was a retired farmer and former road commissioner. Lizzie Schrock ARTHUR Lizzie Schrock, 85, of Goshen, formerly of Arthur, died at 12:45 p.m. Saturday (Sept.

Adams St. Mattoon police Lisa R. Evans, 30, of 2312 Richmond Apt. 2, was ticketed for driving while intoxicated and disobeying a traffic control device after the car she was driving collided with a car driven by Tammi R. Warfel of Greenup on Broadway Avenue at 19th Street at 2:09 a.m.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. He was born Jan. 27, 1925 in Decatur, son of Patrick H. and Ruth S.

McHood. He married Deborah C. Greene on March 18, 1983; she survives. Also surviving are four sons, Thomas B. and J.

Bradford, both of Decatur, Stephen D. of Argenta and Robert 1 L. of Champaign; a daughter, Theresa S. Maddock of Champaign; a brother, James O. McHood of Decatur and six grandchildren.

A Navy veteran of World War II, he was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. He was vice president of structural engineering for Upchurch Associates of Mattoon, president and owner of PW Midwest a consulting firm in Decatur, ad formerly owned and operated McHood Associates, a consulting engineering firm in Decatur, for 25 years. He was a member of numerous professional and civic organizations. Marvin Pankey ARTHUR John Marvin Pankey, 81, of Arthur, died at 8:05 a.m. Monday (Sept.

and Sean Pearcy, Jeff Moses and Kay Kelly. The burial followed at Resthaven Cemetery in Mattoon. Mr. Pearcy, 77, died Sept. 3, 1992 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
