Friday, December 12, 1986-MM-illlnols Newspapers-C 3 (LecesO Bonds presented to champion walkers ,7 7- aw -i im MATTOON Elaine Colbert, co-presiiient of Coles County Right to Life presents a $100 saving bond donated by Central National Bank and a $50 savings bond donated by First National Bank to first. and second place winners of the Walk for Life. Terri Shepherd, 2020 Stoner Charleston, is first place winner and Terrah Miller, daughter of Richard and Patti Miller, 3100 Lafayette, Mattoon, is second place winner. The prizes are awarded to the persons who collect the most money through pledges for the Walk for Life. The walk is the main fund raiser for the Coles County Right to Life.

The money collected is used to promote legislation and education to protect life from conception to natural death. A special thank you to everyone who helped us with the Walk for Life. Monthly meetings are held at 7 p.m. each Thursday of the month at Mattoon City Hall. Inquiries and mail go to Box 752, Mattoon.
