Tuesday (Feb. 12, 1985) in Carle Foundation Hospital, Champaign. Mr. Clodfelder was arrested Monday after a high-speed police chase that ended when his car crashed in Kansas. He was taken to Paris Community Hospital from the Edgar County Jail in Paris and later transferred to Carle.

An autopsy is scheduled at Springfield. The funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Schilling's Funeral Home with the Rev. Herman Niebrugge officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. He was born July 14, 1941, in Battle Creek, a son of James E. and Dorothy M. Neff Clodfelder.

He was an employee of Noble and Black Contractors and was a member of the Moose and Eagles lodges. Surviving are a son, William Eugene of Mattoon; parents of Mattoon; grandmother, Mrs. Daisy Neff of Mattoon; five brothers, James F. of Charleston and Ronald Jerry Kenneth W. and David all of Villa Grove; and a sister, Mrs.

Wilton A. Carf GREENUP Wilton A. Carr, 83, of Greenup, formerly of Toledo, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday (Feb. 13, 1985) in the Carle Foundation hospital in Champaign.

Mr. Carr was a former Cumberland County state's attorney. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Barkley Funeral Home in Toledo with the Rev. Joe Wartick officiating.

Burial will be in Toledo Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today. He was born Dec. 18, 1901, in Cumberland County, a son of Clayborn and Mary Ellen Tipsword Carr.

He married Ruth Connor in 1930. She died in 1966. He then married Jane Daniels in 1973. She survives. Other survivors include a son, Robert of Toledo; two daughters, Mrs.

Marilyn Scott of Toledo and Patricia Rice of Monticello; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Mr. Carr was a retired attorney. He had served as chairman of the board of the First National Bank of Toledo and was director emeritus of the bank at the time of his death.

She married Ed Shick in 1911. He preceded her in death in 1936. Surviving are three sons, Howard McNair of Akron, Ohio, Oscar Shick of Moline, and Don Shick of Tuscon, four daughters, Mamie Walsh of Oakland, Mrs. Pearl Dillier of Casey, Mrs. Margaret Simpson of Oakland and Mrs.

Mildred Robinson of Mission, Texas; one half-sister, Eva Shy rock of Tuscon, Ariz; 21 grandchildren; and 50 greatgrandchildren. Charles Hudson CASEY Charles Melvin Hudson, 79, of Casey died at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 12, 1985) in Burnside Nursing Home, Marshall. The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m.

He was born Sept. 8, 1905, in Clark County, a son of Elisha and Florence Hudson. He was married to Eunice Rothrock on Nov. 28, 1943. She survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Wanda Winters of Casey; four brothers, Frank, Vernon, John and George, all of Casey; two sisters, Bessie Steele and Lucretia Brosman, both of Casey; four grandchildren; and seven greatgrandchildren. One brother preceded him in death. Mr. Hudson was a retired farmer and rural Clark County school teacher. Martha Ward KANSAS Martha DeEtta Ward, 74, of Kansas died at 11:40 a.m.

Tuesday (Feb. 12, 1985) in the Kansas Senior Citizens Center. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Dodge Grove Cemetery, Mattoon. Sutton Son Funeral Home, Kansas, is in charge.

There will be no visitation. She was born Jan. 21, 1911, in Ashmore, a daughter of Lyman E. and Rozella Harrington Trotter. She married Lowell Ward.

He died Dec. 16, 1977. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. DeAnn Ambrose of Phoenix, a brother, Eugene Trotter of Ashmore; and four grandchildren. Six sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

Robert Cobble -Robert Cobble of Fort died Tuesday (Feb. KTM985) at the Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne. He had been in failing health for several months. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at McComb Funeral Home in Ft. Wayne.
